Bell Bottoms

I took two girls out in the woods again for some Bohemian photos.  One of the girls found these AMAZING bell bottoms that looked great on her.  I don't know if we achieved a Bohemian feel with them but I had to share these pictures with you guys because I LOVE these pants!

This is one of my favorite pictures of her even though you can't really see the pants.

Look how these pants show off how slight she is.  They are perfect for her body.

Her legs are so crazy long!  I love it.

Bohemian Out Takes

I feel like I've really been neglecting this blog.  Since I have been taking pictures in huge amounts lately, they have all ended up on my Candid Joy Photography Facebook page and this blog has been left with nothing.

SAD DAY!  I guess I need to be posting smaller things more often or at least redirect you to that page.

For your enjoyment, I will show you two pictures that didn't make the grade and get into the Bohemian Photoshoot Album.
This image was suppose to be her chasing her hat that had blown away in the wind but it looks more like she threw it.

This sweet dear was moving through the water and she looked up at me so I snapped the picture. I love her face but it didn't seem to fit the rest of the album. I love the background as well.

Slice of Life Saturday: Maria

I have been working on a hippie photo shoot that I did with my friends this week and one of my friend's room mates saw the pictures and wondered if I could get some pictures of her.  I said yes because, the more pictures the merrier!
Today we went out really quick and got some images and I'm so excited to get some time on Monday to work on them!
Now tell me, isn't she gorgeous?

Running Through Wild Flowers

After complaining yesterday about how I would rather be traveling around Mexico, I decided to talk my dogs to the local dog park and let them run around.  I grabbed my camera just in case I got inspired.

The park was a mess from all the rain we have been getting.  Parts were flooded and all of it was covered in wild flowers/ weeds.  The dogs loved it and so did my camera.  I can never forget that I live in an amazing place.

Aren't these colors beautiful?

I LOVE that the leaves look like little hearts!

I love these sweet little flowers too.

I'm so happy that I get to live in such a beautiful place. All I have to do is open my eyes and I realize that I can always be inspired.

Slice of Life Saturday: Rather Be Here

I would LOVE to be a travel photographer.  I love traveling and I love photography.  Today I was going through my pictures and wishing I was still in Mexico traveling around taking pictures.

These aren't pictures I took today....but I wish that I did. Maybe next week I will be over my travel blues and ready to post more recent pictures.

I Heart Faces: At A Distance

This is one of my favorite pictures from my time in Hawaii. It is so unbelieveable beautiful there and I hoped to capture that in this picture. The mountains right next to the water and the way that the people embrace that land. I wanted to capture that.
