Sneak Preview: The {C} Family

I can't tell you how amazing it feels to be asked out of the blue to be someones photographer.  I thought that after awhile, I would get used to it.  But when I got a message from this beautiful woman asking if I could take maternity photos for her, I felt totally honored that she thought of me.  Especially since I've never done maternity pictures before.

This is the {C} family.  They are expecting a  baby girl in a couple of weeks and you can tell how excited they are for her arrival.

I'll be working on these photos for the rest of the week and I can't wait for their baby to arrive so that I can practice my newborn pictures again.

Baby {W}

I had never taken any newborn photos before and I was so happy when a woman at my church agreed to let me practice on her brand new baby.

I'm going to need a little more practice but I think for my first time, not so bad.

Sneak Preview: Baby {W}

I've never ever taken newborn photos. To tell the truth, I've been a little scared to try them since I've never had a newborn and I'm TERRIFIED of breaking them.
A couple weeks ago, I got the courage to ask a really lovely woman at my church if I could take some photos of her baby when he arrived. Clearly she said yes and let me come to her home today and fumble my way through a photo session with her adorable baby boy.

He is such a beautiful little baby and I'm so excited to finish working on these pictures.
