Slice of Life Saturday: 50's Film Shoot

I'm in love with film.  After taking my black and white film class, I couldn't live without my very own film camera so I bought the camera that I was borrowing.  I was so excited to head out and take pictures and luckily, I have been planning a shoot for quite some times with my favorite almost sister-in-law.
We decided to have a 50's photo shoot and I must say that I love it.

This was my first time with color film and I must say that I'm still completely in love.

My puppies got to go on an Easter egg hunt since my husband and I are without children. Bambi totally got a hang of it. She even figured out how to crack the eggs open herself.

Slice of Life Saturday: Sister's Graduation

My sister graduated college yesterday with a BS degree (that means Bachelor's of Science).  I'm so excited for her.  She starts work on her MFA degree on Tuesday!  No rest at all!

We went to the library to take some pictures and we couldn't find "Oh the Places You'll Go" but we did find this one.

Slice of Life Saturday: Sunny Morning

My husband and I spent the morning today setting up for a Songkran (Thai New Year) party. This was a perfect moment that I got to capture of my husband relaxing with the dogs. I love my little family so much!  I'm so happy that the sun is starting to come out more and letting us play.

I will have more on the party later. Didn't know that I grew up in Thailand? Yeah, I don't like to brag that I've had an amazing life the last 22 years.

Slice of Life Saturday: April Snow Day

It has been snowing all weekend and there is no sign of it stopping. I can't believe that winter isn't over yet! Here are some pictures of the day.

Head Shots: {R} Gygi

At my parents' home there is a home video.  In that home video I'm acting in the nativity as an angel or random sheep or something.  As my dad walks around with the camera, you see infant {R} Gygi on her mother's lap.
That's how long we have known each other.

She has grown up to be such a gorgeous young woman and I got to hang out with her the other day and it was magical!  She let me do all kinds of things to her but I'll just show you the head shots for now.  This is {R} au natural, if you can believe it!

Family Portraits: The Withers

Last weekend, I had the great pleasure of photographing this amazing family!  I knew {M} since we were little and went to church in Louisiana together.  We were basically family for the 5 years that my family lived there.  We both ended up in the same state years and years later!  Her and her husband {D} wanted pictures of there family before they moved away and it was a great reason to get together.

I think that you will love their little boy!  He was such fun to follow around and I LOVE how you can see how much fun he is having with his wonderful parents.  He is one lucky little boy.
